System description TOA DAC
The high performance capabilities of the TOA Digital Audio
Copntrol represent a major advance in digital signal processing
and in digital control of complex analog devices. The
2-in by 6-out DP-0206 provides over 20 signal processing
functions, and the DX-0808 digitally-controlled 8 x 8
bus matrix routes, distributes and mixes audio signals
and, sets signal levels. All three units are accessed
through a Windows™-based * software program with
real-time processing, matrix unit configuration and parameter
settings. The software is highly intuitive and comes with
a graphic display of the frequency/phase response. Editing
and data file storage can be done off-line and off-site.
Settings are software-driven and delivered via the system
interface to the independentely operation hardware. The
processors also feature 16 presets for remote control
without a computer. By using units either singly or linked
in multiples, processing for systems of any size or configuration
can be easily designed and tuned. The processing unit
DP-0206 has both analog and digital inputs and outputs,
and the matrix unit has a 64-point switching matrix for
its 8 input mix buses and a 64-point level controlled
matrix for the 8 output mix buses, both electronically
balanced. The systems can be used at several performance
places which provide different requirements for the sound
system because each setting can easily be restored by
simple pressing a button.

DI-1616 |
Interface Unit
The DI-1616, which interfaces the personal computer
(PC) with the power amplifiers(IP-300D/ -450D/-600D),lets
the PC adjust the sound volume and display the operation
status (power supply, protection, fan, and input/output
levels) of the power amplifiers. A maximum of eight power
amplifiers can be connected per DI-1616. Initial setting,
data storage, and data call-up can be performed at the
PC. The amplifier operating status is also displayed on
the PC screen. Not merely one DI-1616 unit but a maximum
of 30 units including the digital processors (DP-0202/-0204)
and matrix units(DX-0808) can also be connected,allowing
the stored patterns to be changed simultaneously for all
connected units.

DX-0808 |
Digitally Controlled Matrix 8 x 8
Eight inputs switchable to 8-channel mixing bus. Bus signals
can be mixed to 8 outputs. LED matrix display of mixing
points. 16 presets, restorable by selector combined with
large LED number display. Electronically balanced inputs
and outputs with XLR connectors. Connector for remote
control. RS-232C and RS-485 interface. Access protection
in two levels.Optional bus connection cable is YA-8 (each
two necessary).

Multi-Route Unit
The unit can be operated as a 6-input / 6-output splitter
or microphone head amplifier. With the front panel switch
different functions can be simoultaneously assigned to
different channels, allowing a wide range of signal configurations.
Mic/Line level selector switch and 20dB PAD on each input
channel make a wide range of precise signal settings possible
from microphone to line levels. By cascading multiple
units the nuber of inputs and outputs can be increased
accordingly.

2-Channel 2/3 Octave Graphic Equalizer
14 filters on ISO 2/3 octave center frequencies from 40Hz
to 16 kHz. Active bandpass/ bandreject summed-in-parallel
filters with minimum phase shift. Variable independent
6 dB or 12 dB boost or cut at each center frequency. Precision
calibrated linear scales with dB-factors. Continuously
variable high pass filter (15...300Hz). Manual bypass
and automatic bypass at power loss. LED peak monitoring
of input and output levels, for proper gain structuring.
Optional isolated transformers LT-101 convert unbalanced
inputs and outputs to balanced inputs and outputs. Security
cover is provided. 1 unit height. Colour: black.

E-1231 |
1-Channel 1/3 Octave Graphic Equalizer
28 filters on ISO 1/3 octave center frequencies from 31,5Hz
to 16 kHz by ±12 dB boost/cut variable coverage
at calibrated scales with dB-factors. Additional high-
and low-pass filters with variable frequencies from 15Hz
to 300 Hz (6 or 12dB/oct)and 2,5 kHz to 30 kHz. Variable
(±12dB) input level control for a variety of input
levels and sources. LED peak monitoring of input and output
levels, for proper gain structuring. Bypass switch. Optional
transformers, LT-101 for input and LT-102 for output make
balanced signals become isolated balanced. Security cover
is provided. 2 units height. Colour: black.

D-1103 |
Digital Sound Delay with three Outputs
Digital Delay with one input and three programmable delay
outputs. Adjustable 0 - 655 millisecond delay for simultaneous
remote speaker and component alignment delays. Four non-volatile
delay setting storage memories for instant set-ups. Preset
memory access via front panel switches or remotely for
simultaneous activation of interconnected units, either
remotely or via a master D-1103 unit. Power loss by-pass
circuitry. Protection switch disables front-panel pushbuttons.
Optional transformers, LT-101 for input and LT-102 for
output make balanced signals to become isolated balanced.

L-1102 |
2-Channel Leveller/Limiter
Each channel switchable between leveller or limiter
operation. The leveller is controlled by the input signal,
the limiter is controlled by an external (sense input)
signal. Sense input for limiter. An LED gain/reduction
meter is provided. Each channel has a switchable noise
gate. Power loss bypass cicuitry included. Optional transformers,
LT-101 for input and LT-102 for output make balanced signals
to become isolated balanced. 1 unit height. Colour: black.
